The event is at the heart of the creation and socialization of fashion trends in the region: innovation, design and sustainability, from leather goods and footwear supplies to fibers and textile supplies for Italy, Colombia, Portugal, Spain, United States, Peru, etc ... in the reportage of @Fashion network [Inspiramais regresa al formato presencial y consolida a Brasil como el principal proveedor de la región - F]
Inspiramais, the innovation fair, opens its doors in the Fiergs exhibition center, in the city of Porto Alegre.
An installation in the form of a labyrinth welcomes visitors with an educational tour that presents the trends of the second half of 2023. Vibrant colors, liquid gold in the format of accessories for clothing and footwear, the futuristic fusion of the world, the return to the nature, the human body and the earth make up the great starting themes.
The show is presented as a giant laboratory that speaks to all manufacturing sectors linked to fashion, from leather and footwear supplies, to fibers and textile supplies, through accessories and furniture. Inspiramais is the starting point for future trends and input incubation. The organization, whose director is Walter Rodrigues, has been developing the theme for more than six months, investigating the behavior of the market and the industry and projecting what is to come.
“We don't believe in seasons, in Brazil we work by semesters, who says that the same material cannot be used in summer sandals as in autumn shoes?” Rodrigues informed in the opening conference.
The enclosure is dressed in colors, with more than 1000 copies between leathers with finishes of hundreds of different styles and tones, threads and specialized materials for industries.
“It looks like the tower of Babel”, said one of the organizers, satisfied with the visitors and buyers from all over the world. Italy, Colombia, Portugal, Spain, the United States, Peru, Ecuador and Guatemala are some of the countries that have commercial representation at Inspiramais.
“Since 2004 we understood that we had to make an important change in our industry, because having the design, if a market drops in consumption, we still have the product to address all the other markets. Without bias, the product is worth by itself, as an input or as a final product”, explained Rodrigues.
The current global supply crisis, the long waiting periods for the arrival of supplies and products from Asia and the high freight costs strengthen Brazil's presence in its domestic market, the largest in the region, as well as in front of your neighbors.
“A country like Colombia, which is the second largest in the southern cone and perhaps one of the most advanced in terms of fashion, has a lack of supply of at least 50% of its inputs, which makes it the partner ideal of Brazilian companies”, one of the organizers confided to FashionNetwork.com .
The manager also confirmed that Brazilian exports of footwear and supplies to Colombia have grown by more than 20% so far this year, ratifying his statement.
“In Brazil we have the complete chain, we are, in a certain way, self-sufficient, since we have from the beginning to the end; from cotton fibres, wool and leather, to finished products, passing through the highest quality inputs, with an inclination towards sustainability and care for the environment”, continued Rodrigues, who assures that the time has come to work in together for a better planet, because without a planet there are no industries.
Brazil is strongly positioned as the supplier of supplies, fashion and footwear in the region. With more than 200 million inhabitants and close to 30,000 companies dedicated to the sector, the country extends hand in hand with its "partnerships" or commercial relations with its neighbors and registers double-digit growth in its yearly exports, thanks to innovation and the vanguard.
Inspiramais celebrates its 26th edition, and already confirms its next show on January 24 and 25, 2023.
