Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) and sustainable production are the ingredients of Vietnamese export success
Leather and footwear exports +13%, to over $14 billion in 7 months, thanks to FTAs and the increase in the localization rate of industries (from 40-45% to 55%) which, thanks to ecological innovation, are now able to supply almost 80% of components for footwear nationwide. These are the conclusions of the survey of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Vietnam (VCCI), carried out by Huong Ly.
