South Africa, SACTWU closes with salary increases the wage disputes of footwear, tanners, and textiles
The Southern African Textile and Clothing Workers' Union (Sactwu), affiliated with Cosatu (Congress of South African Trade Unions) has resolved the wage dispute in the footwear sector with a wage increase of 6.8%. In the tannery sector, with a wage increase of 7.25%. In the textile sector, forecasting wage increases between 7.5% and 8% for this year and next year.
