Record participation of Brazilian footwear brands in Expo Riva Schuh

09 January 2023

The Brazilian Footwear, a program to support exports of footwear maintained by the Brazilian Association of Footwear Industries (Abicalçados) in partnership with the Brazilian Agency for The Promotion of Exports and Investments (ApexBrasil), is preparing the participation of 57 Brazilian footwear brands in Expo Riva Schuh.

Considered one of the largest trade fairs in the world, the show takes place in Riva del Garda, Italy, from January 14 to 17.

To get an idea of the tradition of the event, this will be the 98th edition. In 2024, the fair will complete 100 editions.

Abicalçados Relationship Analyst Aline Maldaner points out that Brazilian participation has been growing in recent years and that expectations are very positive. "In June 2022, we were at the event with the largest Brazilian delegation in the history of participation in expo Riva Schuh until then, and with the decrease in chinese participation, we had even more prominence and new business opportunities. Now, in January, we hope to maintain and expand the space conquered", says the analyst.

In addition to physical participation, yellow-green footwear is receiving strong support online.

In the days leading up to the fair, exhibitors are widely advertised to international buyers through qualified mailings.

On the four days of the event, there will be banners in prominent locations with the locations of the exhibitors and a QR Code, which will take the visitor to the event page on the BrazilianFootwear.com.
