Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) and sustainable production are the ingredients of Vietnamese export success

Leather and footwear exports +13%, to over $14 billion in 7 months, thanks to FTAs and the increase in the localization rate of industries (from 40-45% to 55%) which, thanks to ecological innovation, are now able to supply almost 80% of components for footwear nationwide. These are the conclusions of the survey of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Vietnam (VCCI), carried out by Huong Ly. Spain: Export prices in the textile-clothing and leather-footwear sectors have linked several months of record increases: between 3% and 8.8% in May

The Export Price Index (Iprix) of clothing increased by 3%, while export prices in the leather goods and footwear sector grew by 4.3%, Modaes reports . Inflation continues to rise. The Textile Export Price Index (Iprix) recorded an increase of 8.8% year-on-year in May, in line with increases in recent months, according to data published today by the National Institute of Statistics (INE).
