Inflation: in April in the US footwear prices +4.7%
Footwear +4.7% in April compared to last year, according to information from FDRA, also reported by FN. Men's footwear increased by +2.5%, women's +6.4% and childhood +5.0%. Footwear prices have increased by 6.1% year-to-date compared to the first four months of 2021. The tariffs have greatly contributed to the rise in shoe prices, and the FDRA believes footwear will increase at the fastest pace in decades.
