Assomac is present at the third edition of the Estates General of Italian Leather Goods, the annual event wanted and promoted by Assopellettierie organized in co-promotion with the Municipality of Florence, which are taking place in the Salone dei Cinquento in Palazzo Vecchio in Florence.
The event is an opportunity to take stock of the state of the sector and discuss future scenarios together with representatives of politics, institutions and businesses.
The Mayor of Florence Dario Nardella with Franco Gabbrielli and Andrea Calistri, respectively President and Vice President of Assopellettieri, opened the meeting.
Among the important innovations is the partnership with The European House - Ambrosetti, focused on a qualified path of comparison and growth with companies in the sector.
Leather goods represent one of the key chains of Made in Italy; a sector that in 2021 reached 7.48 billion euros in turnover (+ 25.7% compared to 2020 and -16% pre-covid) and around 10 billion in exports (here the gap is reduced, + 21.7% compared to 2020 and -8.4% pre -covid).
