From Prada to LVMH, fashion brands are increasing their investments in suppliers, benefiting both sides. Many brands acquire tanneries and textile manufacturers. They acquire smaller, often family-run Italian luxury producers, putting them under the umbrella of the group, but with shared management and operational resources.
