The company admitted on Wednesday that it was still yet to decide what to do with a mountain of unsold Yeezy trainers, the legacy of its split from West, following antisemitic, and other offensive remarks, he made last October.
The company is unwilling to burn the goods, and giving them away is complicated since their sudden rarity means they are collectors’ items. The Adidas boss said he was considering selling them and giving the proceeds to charity.
