Footwear is the main export commodities in Putian that maintained growing and ranked first among major exported products in 2022, the export value were RMB17.63 billion yuan, up 18.9%, accounting for 46.5% of Putian's total export value in the same period.
The other products also saw a double digital growth in export of 2022, for instance, the export of mechanical and electrical products amounted to RMB4.1 billion yuan, up 17.6% and accounting for 10.8%; Exports of rubber tires were RMB2.56 billion yuan, up 41.4%, accounting for 6.7%; Exports of textile yarns, fabrics and their products reached RMB2.3 billion yuan, up 27%, accounting for 6.1%; Exports of agricultural products reached 1.13 billion yuan, up 21%, accounting for 3%.
