The "Shoes & Leather" fair in Ho Chi Minh is the flagship event, for the entire area, of the footwear and leather products sector which was held from 12 to 14 July. The Italian Pavilion, which has become a consolidated presence over the years, was organized by ITA ICE Agenzia at the fair, in which 10 companies participated, supported with targeted communication actions in the local press and websites.
The Vietnamese market, which remains one of the strategic markets for the footwear sector, has confirmed itself, despite a phase of low growth, as one of the most promising and interested in technological proposals connected to the manufacturing of the fashion system.
The event was an opportunity for these companies in our sector to renew their technological proposal by presenting the latest innovations and products to potential customers and professionals in Vietnamese manufacturing and beyond, demonstrating the quality and efficiency of the Italian offer.
Participation in an international fair such as "Shoes & Leather" allows ample visibility for Assomac member companies, supporting the need to consolidate and establish commercial contacts, explore new markets that gravitate around the South Asian area and create strategic partnerships. Furthermore, the event provides an inspiring environment to share knowledge and exchange ideas with other industry professionals.
During the fair, a seminar dedicated to member companies was held by DELOITTE Asia Pacific with Olderigo Fantacci (www.deloitte.com) who illustrated the economic and commercial opportunities in Vietnam; making itself available to support Italian companies on local markets.
